Statement– We believe happiness and fulfillment are not achieved through other people; therefore, being single is a Biblical life style option, and single adults can honor God with their lives regardless of marital status

1. Introduction
   • We see the single person as a   of one.
   • Singleness is an expression of the Divine will.
2. Happiness and fulfillment are not achieved through other people 
   • A.Seeking happiness in humans will lead to disappointment.
   •   comes from God and by seeking after him, not through our circumstances or other people
3. Being single is a Biblical life style option
   • A.Four principals from 1 Corinthians 7
     • Singleness is a   lifestyle(vv. 1-8).
     • An allowance for marriage(v. 9).
     • We need to be faithful to the calling God has placed on our lives              (vv. 17-28).
     • We need to remain   to God (vv. 29-40)
   • B.We are called to set aside our own desires and look to the things of God.
4. Single adults can honor God with their lives
   • We are called to a lifestyle that is honoring to God.
   • Singleness is not   an easy calling, but God is there is to assist
