I. Man is a Steward not a possessor

1. A   does not own what they possess
2. God has provided all that we have. (Ecclesiastes 5:19; Haggai 2:6-8; 1 Chronicles 29:11-13)
3. Stewardship gives   to our relationship with God: God is the owner and humanity is the  .
4. Attitude matters
   • 2 Corinthians 9:7- God loves a cheerful giver
   • 2 Corinthians 9:10-11 - It is God that supplies, blesses, multiples and gives   to our labor.
5. We are enriched so that we can enrich others.

II. We Must First Give Ourselves to Gos

1. A matter of the  : If God doesn't have you then he doesn't have your money.
2. Stewardship is a principle that governs all of life... your time, yiyr possessions, your heart.
3. Four Principles
   • We are to give the   part of our income. (Proverbs 3:9-10)
   • We are to tithe (10%) plus other offerings. (2 Corinthians 9:7)
   •   and proportionate giving. (1 Corinthians 16:2)
   • Generous and joyful giving. (2 Corinthians 9:7)

III. Material Restoration (Malachi 3:8-10)

1. When we fail to tithe, God considers it  .
2. We are not to withhold our tithes from God.
3. We are to bring   to the store house of God.
4.   are to be over and above the tithe.
5. God promises blessing when we tithe: God is going to make sure that our needs are met.

IV. Conclusion

1. We have been blessed by God to bless God first and then others.
2. We are stewards of  .
3. we first need to give ourselves to God.
4. God desires to bless us, and has promised to do so when we re faithful tithes.
5. This is a spiritual issue. Trust God and have faith in him to do what he has  .
