Family Manifesto-Roles of Wives

We are seven weeks into our Family Manifesto series and have shifted focus to the roles of men and women within the family, as outlined in scripture. Last week, the sermon began by emphasizing the husband's role as the head of the household, charged by God to be a servant leader who loves, protects, and provides for his wife.

Today, attention shifts to the role of wives, characterized by their responsibility as helpers and nurturers, with an emphasis on respecting their husbands.  Our belief is that while these roles differ, they are equally significant in God's design for marriage. For a marriage to function as intended by God, both men and women must fulfill their respective roles as outlined in scripture. These roles are described as complementary, working together harmoniously within the marriage relationship.
