The Life of Christ: Silence

Silence: People (Matthew 12:14-16)

1. Jesus avoided   confrontation.
2. When Jesus confronted, He did it to   error.
3. Are we ever to create conflict? Yes:
   • Whenever we encounter   (false teaching).
   • When we are wronged ( relationships).
4. Whenever we encounter   (stand for the broken hearted).

Silence: Demons (Mark 3:7-12)

1. Jesus’   was widespread, and He ministered to a variety of people.
2. Jesus cast out the demons and   them.
3. Demons know Jesus is the Son of God, and they submit to His authority,   and utterly.
4. Christians are to   to the authority of Christ in our lives.
5. Christians don’t work out their faith to EARN an identity; we work out our faith   as children of God.

The Silent Messiah (Matthew 12:17-21)

1. The first time He came into the world, He did so  , quietly, and silently.
2. Jesus proclaimed the   to the Gentile nations, as well.
3. God desires that we are to be   for the world.
4. We are to   Jesus to the world.
