Power of Faith [Revisited] (Matthew 9:27-31)

1. Culturally, blindness was seen as a judgment from God.
2. Sin is never in  .
3. We are   for our own relationship with God.
4. These men cry out to Jesus and they do so in faith.
5. Our faith is the   through which God works.
6. We live in the   of God’s promises …
7. And under the   that God keeps his promises.

Authority [Revisited] (Matthew 9:32-34)

1. Jesus is threatening the Pharisee’s  :
2. The Pharisee’s had power over the people, the respect of the people, wealth of the people.
3. As shepherds over Israel the Pharisees would have seen and recognized the message.
4. When we   Jesus’ authority, we do so out of selfishness and   sightedness.
5. Jesus’ authority is led by love because God is love.

The Harvest and the Laborers (Matthew 9:35-38)

1. He had   for the harassed and helpless.
2. The main need of the people is spiritual not physical.
3. The people are ready to be harvested.
4. Jesus is   his laborers
5. Jesus is about grace not the law.
6. God loves you as you   but he loves us too much to   us as we are.
7. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, sanctifying us.
8. We also are to   to his authority.
9. By doing the good deeds he has   for us to do.
